Project Momentum

What is Project Momentum?

Over the past few years, we have been working with people in our school district to help create new FIRST LEGO League teams, and to spark interest in other parts of FIRST. Our school district has not had consistent FIRST programs, meaning that kids had to find an existing team outside of the district if they wanted to participate. We reached out to our school district, and we're working with staff members to help make a sustainable program. Our district went from having no FLL-Explore or FLL-Challenge teams just a few years ago to having eight FLL-Explore and four FLL-Challenge teams this past year! Mentoring these younger kids is one of our team's favorite things to do.
